Historic and major flash flooding is ongoing this morning across many areas of Northeastern and East Central Iowa, especially along the Wapsi basin. Our own chaser Dan Gottschalk has been following the floods all through the night and says that many towns and roads are underwater and it isn’t looking good. Flash Flood and River Flood Warnings remain in effect for these areas. Remember – turn around, don’t drown.

Please heed all evacuations that may be issued this morning. We will pass them along if we hear any information.
