NORTHEAST IOWA TUESDAY AFTERNOON INTO EARLY TUESDAY EVENING…

.A VERY WARM AND DRY AIRMASS WILL OVERSPREAD THE AREA TUESDAY
AFTERNOON AS A WARM FRONT LIFTS NORTH OF THE AREA. TEMPERATURES
ARE EXPECTED TO CLIMB TO AROUND 90 DEGREES…WITH MINIMUM
AFTERNOON HUMIDITIES AROUND 25 PERCENT. COMBINED WITH THIS…SOUTH
TO SOUTHWEST WINDS WILL INCREASE TO 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS TO
AROUND 30 MPH FOR THE AFTERNOON. THIS COMBINATION OF WINDS AND LOW
HUMIDITIES WOULD ALLOW ANY FIRES THAT START TO SPREAD QUICKLY AND
BE DIFFICULT TO CONTROL AND CONTAIN.
