WEATHER WATCH FOR EXTREME FIRE CONDITIONS…WHICH IS IN EFFECT
FROM TUESDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH TUESDAY EVENING.
* TIMING…WINDS WILL INCREASE IN THE MID TO LATE MORNING HOURS ON
TUESDAY…CONCURRENT WITH RELATIVE HUMIDITY DROPPING RAPIDLY
AFTER SUNRISE. THE MOST HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS WILL OCCUR IN THE
AFTERNOON AND EVENING HOURS.
* WIND…SOUTH SOUTHWEST WINDS OF 20 TO 25 MPH ARE FORECAST…WITH
GUSTS TO NEAR 40 MPH POSSIBLE AT TIMES.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY…RELATIVE HUMIDITY WILL DROP TO 30 PERCENT OR
LOWER IN SOME AREAS BY NOON…AND BOTTOM OUT AT 20 TO 25 PERCENT
IN THE AFTERNOON.
* FUEL…MANY WILD GRASSES HAVE NOT FULLY GREENED UP DUE TO THE
