WXALERT: Another Watch being Considered in Eastern Iowa

UPDATE: The Storm Prediction Center in Norman, Oklahoma says that it is now also looking at the possibility (40%) of a watch in Eastern Iowa (along with Central/Western Iowa) as it goes farther into the next couple of hours. The Storm Prediction Center in Norman, Oklahoma is monitoring Iowa for a possible (40%) chance of a watch within the next couple of hours. Isolated severe potential exists for this evening for portions of Central/Western Iowa and a small cell already exists over Webster county. As more convective ingredients increase over the next couple of hours, a more organized threat should develop, with large hail, damaging winds, and a possible tornado if this threat does in fact develop.
