Several changes this morning to the warnings and advisories. Several counties have been added to the Winter Storm Warning. These include, Scott, Louisa, Muscatine, Jefferson, Monroe, Wayne and Wapello counties.
This includes the cities of Davenport, Bettendorf, Muscatine, and Ottumwa. The Winter Weather Advisory has also been shifted northward as well including Poweshiek, Iowa, Jones and Jackson counties. Latest model runs have shown a slight northward shift of the snow. (Even from the earlier IWR a few hours ago) Snowfall in the advisory area my be 2-4″ with 4 to 8 inches of snow in the warning area. Some isolated heavier totals are possible. Snow will last through the day and into tonight. Travel could become impacted in these areas as winds will be blowing some of the snow around. Stay tuned as this storm has been finicky over the last few days with regards to possible snowfall.
