BLIZZARD UPDATE #4

The system has finally made it out of our region! The storm is currently lurking over Michigan and the Ohio Valley and still dropping heavy snow and rain. Meanwhile, it has been gusty across Iowa all evening. Blizzard Warnings and Winter Weather Advisories were in effect for the entire state until 9PM tonight when they were allowed to expire. However, due to the threat of blowing and drifting snow, the National Weather Service in the Quad Cities has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the threat, which is in effect until 10AM tomorrow (see more info in Weather Alerts section below.) Winds are continuing to be breezy in the 10-15 MPH range and with this schools have already canceled or delayed for the day.

Final totals from the storm is available further down the blog. This includes totals from all NWS offices that we cover and there are totals for nearly every city. Check it out!
