SEASONALLY WARM: No real change from yesterday with regards to the rest of this week. Readings will remain above seasonal levels with upper 30s to lower 50s across the state with sunny skies and a few passing clouds. The winds will be breezy at times out of the south bringing the warmth into the state.
SATURDAY RAIN: The storm system we mentioned yesterday is still on track for moving through the state on Saturday with some light rain. It looks to be mainly rain for most of the state however some mix could be possible in the far northern and northwestern counties of the state, but it doesn’t look to be too much of a problem at this time. The amounts will be between a quarter and half inch at best.
WHERE IS SNOW?: There isn’t any big changes regarding any possible snow before Christmas across the state. A disturbance will move through around the 19th but it will lack much moisture until it’s well east of the state, any precipitation with this would be in the form of a few flurries at best if that as of now. Another disturbance on the 22nd could bring about the same, a few flurries at best. The storm we mentioned the day after Christmas is a little faster on this run so there could be some light snow falling on Christmas day with the main event still occurring on the 26th. We’ll see if this trend continues in future days.
