UNDECEMBERLIKE: It surely must not be a little more than 3 weeks from Christmas. It feels more like 3 weeks to Memorial Day Weekend or 3 weeks after Easter, but the calendar does say December, even if the temperatures don’t reflect it. Readings today and Monday will be in the 50s and 60s for highs before a drop off to the 40s for the remainder of the week. Some light rain is possible Monday but amounts are going to be very light, no more than a tenth of an inch.
STORM NEXT WEEKEND: Colder and more appropriate air for early to mid December will finally make an appearance by next weekend and it also may bring the first widespread coating of snow for the state. Right now it’s too early to determine how much will fall but it looks light at this time. This may change on the next model runs so we’ll keep updating.
ACTIVE MID MONTH: The middle of the month looks to remain somewhat active with some systems moving through however there has been almost no consistency run to run lately, so we’d be drawing up straws at this time. One trend that is continuing is that it looks to remain dry and seasonal at least at this time.
