CONTINUED SUN: Dry Pattern continues into today through Thursday with slow warming tomorrow. Highs today will range from the low 40’s NW to the Mid 50’s SE. Clouds will be minimal throughout the day with lots of sun and a near calm wind.
DENSE FOG: Fog may develop in portions of North Central and Northeast Iowa Thursday Night. Fog may limit visibility to 0 to a tenth of a mile at times. Use extra caution.
POSSIBLE RAIN: A very weak disturbance will move into the area Saturday bringing with it a chance of a shower to the drizzle Saturday. Any precipitation, if any, should be light ranging from a trace to less than a tenth of an inch, but most areas should remain dry. Tuesday brings a similar situation with best chances to the East, however it is too early to tell. Refer to later forecast videos.
FAR-OUT SNOW STORM?: As mentioned yesterday, the GFS was beginning to draw out a strong low front passing over our area around December 11th-12th, bringing with it a possible snow storm. Today, not many changes other than a slight de-strengthening and a little bit more consistency between a couple of the models. Predictions continue to see strong winds with about a foot of snow possible. However, this is a long ways out and the models have not come into full consistency yet. Refer to later videos.
