SUNSHINE SEASONALLY: Feeling a lot more like late November should be over the next few days with little chance of precipitation Monday night or so. Readings today will be in the 30s to lower 40s across the state with a lot less wind and a lot of sunshine. Sunday will see temperatures a few degrees warmer, still with plenty of sunshine around. Monday will see a weak disturbance move across that may kick off a few snow showers or flurries. Accumulations don’t look very likely, with the better chances for accumulation over South Dakota and Nebraska.

DECEMBER STORMS: The emphasis will turn toward some storms that the GFS has been showing for last few days over the first days of December. Strong energy will be coming in from the west if this is right and could bring some showers and perhaps even thunderstorms to the state. It will be warm enough for the precipitation to be all rain, perhaps having highs in the 50s. We’ll see if this trend continues.
