SEASONALLY COOL: A far cry from the last few days of seeing record or near record highs to readings barely breaking 40 in many areas, but that’s what we’ll see today through the weekend. Highs in the 30s to lower to mid 40s across the state with lows in the teens tonight and into the lower to middle 20s Saturday and Sunday night. Sunshine will be plentiful with some afternoon clouds.

SCRAPING SNOW: A storm system will move across the area Monday into early Tuesday, which may bring some light snow to the state. The best chances will be farther south toward the Missouri border. Right now any accumulation would be light but we’ll still can’t pinpoint that at this time. Temperatures will remain seasonally cool into next week with 30s and 40s for highs with a slight warmup toward the end of the week.

DECEMBER STORMS: The GFS is still showing some possible storm systems during the first week of the month. Some of these could bring some moderate to heavy precipitation, mainly in the form at least of right now, rain, but this too could change. Too much inconsistency right now to pinpoint anything past seven days at this point.
