GREAT WEEKEND: After a few morning clouds and fog, the weather will be terrific for any outdoors activities this weekend. Temperatures will be warm, especially on Sunday with 50s and 60s today and 60s and 70s Sunday.

RAIN BACK IN: Chances of rain return Monday with a storm system moving in from the west. This will be weak in nature and only produce widely scattered showers and perhaps a thunderstorms or two. Not everyone will see rain and it won’t be an all day rain by any means. This will continue through Wednesday with highs remaining in the mid 60s to mid 70s statewide.

THURSDAY: The storm on Thursday, the front will move through the state on Thursday with some showers and thunderstorms along it. Could there be severe weather? We won’t go into that until we get a bit closer but there certainly is a possibility. This will put an end to the warm weather with a shot of much colder air coming in for Friday into the following weekend. We’ll get more into this storm on Sunday’s IWR.

HALLOWEEN: The weather for Halloween right now looks to be rather scary and frightful. GFS is showing some scattered showers about and some breezy winds out of the south ahead of a storm off to the west. One thing will be that it won’t be brutally cold, but this is still over a week out and things will changes as they always seem to on model runs.
