The National Weather Service has issued a Freeze Warning from Midnight until 9am Saturday Morning for the following counties, Cedar, Clinton, Des Moines, Henry, Iowa, Jefferson, Johnson, Keokuk, Lee, Louisa, Muscatine, Scott, Van Buren, Washington, Clark MO, Scotland MO and Hancock IL, Henderson IL, Mercer IL, Rock Island IL and Whiteside IL. Temperatures will drop into the middle to upper 20s in these areas leading to a hard freeze that will end the growing season in these areas.

There is a Frost Advisory from 1am until 8am Saturday Morning for Allamakee, Clayton, Houston MN, Crawford WI, Grant WI and Vernon WI. In these areas temperatures will drop into the lower 30s in the Mississippi and Wisconsin River valleys where a hard freeze has yet to occur.

UPDATE: A Freeze Warning is now in effect from Midnight until 9am Saturday for the following counties, Adams, Appanoose, Clarke, Davis, Decatur, Lucas, Monroe, Ringgold, Taylor, Union, Wapello and Wayne. There is also a Freeze Warning from 1am until 10am Saturday morning for Fremont, Harrison, Mills, Montgomery, Page, Pottawattamie, Shelby, Burt NE, Cass NE, Douglas NE, Otoe NE, Sarpy NE and Washington NE counties. There is a Hard Freeze Warning from 1am until 10am Saturday Morning for Monona county in Iowa and Thurston county in Nebraska.
