The National Weather Service in Omaha has issued a Freeze Warning from 1am until 10am Friday morning for Monona, Harrison and Shelby counties. Temperatures will drop into the upper 20s in these counties by Friday morning producing a hard freeze. This will end the growing season in these areas. if you have any outdoor plants that are sensitive, make sure to cover them up or bring them indoors to protect them. Many other locations will drop into the 20s as well, but several NWS offices have stopped issuing frost and freeze advisories and warnings due to the earlier freeze a few weeks ago.
