BIG CHANGES: A couple more dry days this week which is nothing new lately with the lack of rainfall. There will be a cold front moving through the state today bringing a few clouds and slightly cooler temperatures. There have been a few showers and storms along the front to the west but aren’t likely around here today. Our next chance of rain comes Thursday with a more impressive cold front that will bring more impressive cold air to the state as well. This will drop readings back into the 50s and lower 60s for highs with lows down into the 20s and 30s. Rainfall will be modest with a quarter to half inch possible as of now but this could be spotty in many areas.

WONDERFUL WORLD OF VOO-DOO: The lovely land where model runs go and give us all sorts of mysterious storms and trends in the 8-15 day outlook. Today is no exception again with a storm system at mid-month possibly bringing some showers and thunderstorms to the state at that time. There would be a big warm up after the cold spell this coming weekend, (this seems certain outside of everything else) but the storm systems have been all over the map so we have little or no confidence past day 8 as of now outside the warmup after this coming weekend.
