STILL NO RAIN: The benign dry sunny seasonal weather will continue for several more days. A few good things about this long dry spell. It does get farmers into the fields to harvest much earlier than normal (even with the severe to extreme drought in the state), another is any outdoor activities this weekend whether it’s going to a football game Friday night, Saturday or anything else you have planned this weekend, there will be no issues at all with the weather.

NEXT WEEK: As mentioned in yesterday’s video, a cold front will move into the state Monday and as expected it will come through dry. There could be the isolated shower but 99% of the area will be dry, if not everyone. It could be well into the next week before any rainfall comes into the state and even that doesn’t look promising now either. Cold air will begin building in Canada however for the first week to ten days of October with some possibilities of it making its way down here. Model confidence however is not very good after the first 7 days so we’ll keep watching for anymore trends at this time.
