BECOMING SEASONAL: One day of readings stuck in the upper 50s to middle 60s will give way to seasonal readings for the work week with some chances of rainfall toward the end of the week. After a frosty morning this morning we could see similar reading Monday morning although temperatures will be a few degrees warmer and only in the eastern and northeastern counties could there be a risk of some light to moderate frost. A system will bring some chances of rain beginning perhaps as early as Tuesday night in the southern counties but more likely Thursday and Friday. Rainfall looks to be light at best with many areas receiving less than a quarter inch except in the far south where they could be up to a third to half inch.
OCTOBER FUN: The Model continues to go all over the board with regards to October right now. Yesterday we saw a fairly decent storm that could bring some rain and perhaps wintry precipitation close by. Today however, that’s gone although there still is a chance of some precipitation. The storm isn’t as strong nor is it bringing down as much cold air as the 00z run Friday. Don’t have much confidence passed 7 days at this time with the “all over” craziness of the model right now.
