COOL DOWN: No real changes from yesterday’s video. Temperatures will be at or below average through Sunday with highs in the mid 70s to mid 80s from east to west. Saturday morning could see some record lows approached with readings in the mid 40s to mid 50s possible. Sunday still looks to have the best chance of rain over the next week with the western counties getting in on the action late Saturday night at the earliest.

SLOWLY WARMING: Next week readings will warm back well into the 80s and even a few 90s possible as the trough that is currently bringing the cooler than average readings begins to move off to the east. This will be tempered by a frontal system Wednesday night into Thursday next week which will bring another refreshing shot of cooler air out of Canada at that time.

MORE WARMTH: GFS is showing another warm spell toward the end of State Fair and the beginning of the school year. It doesn’t look overly hot by any means, but we could see readings a few degrees either side of 90 once again. There is also several more chances of showers and thunderstorms as well with the more active storm track moving through.
