Here’s a satellite image of the storms that are currently over the western and northwestern sections of the state. The sun which is beginning to set in the west is being overshadowed by the towering cumulonimbus clouds creating a shadow that is sweeping across the area at this hour. These storms are still currently severe and could produce large hail and damaging winds for several more hours as they move to the east and southeast.
