SEASONAL: Temperatures will remain near where they should be for this time of the year this week with a slow warm up into the upper 80s to near 90 by this coming weekend. Rain chances will be few and far between with the better chances coming today, and that isn’t say a whole lot. There could be a widely scattered shower or storm but the chances of any one area receiving one is less than 10%.

STORMY: A frontal system looks to move through the state early next week which may be the next best chance of showers and thunderstorms across the state. There is no real cool air behind this system, but temperatures will look to drop back to seasonal levels heading into the middle of the month. Farther into the month there are several shower and storm chances but summertime convection is very hard to pinpoint even a day or two in advance, so looking out two weeks is only just worth mentioning at this time.

WEEKLY WEATHER FORECAST: The Weekly weather forecast has returned with this video. This will be seen on every Monday video through Labor day weekend hopefully. There is an addition of southwestern Wisconsin to the weekly weather forecast. We’ll see if we continue that next week based on anything we hear from our audience. (NOTE: Baraboo’s weather icon for Saturday and Sunday was moved to below the city text due to obscuring the text of Wisconsin Dells)
