BIG COLD SNAP: If you enjoyed the warm weather this past weekend, you’re not going to like what is forecast later this week. Temperatures by Thursday may not make it out of the 50s for highs with a good steady rain across the state. Friday will be a touch warmer with upper 50s to the mid to upper 60s as the storm moves off to the east. Until then, readings today and Wednesday in the 70s with mostly sunny skies.
BACK TO JUNE: Following the storm at the end of the week, temperatures will make a big recovery back to June like readings by the weekend with readings back to and over 80 by Sunday. Along with the warmup comes another chance of showers and thunderstorms which are still needed in some areas of the state. It looks to remain warm through the middle of the month at least as of now with several more chances of rainfall.
