RAIN OR NOT: Some places in the state this week could get plenty of rain, while others may not be so lucky. A storm system is slowly going to move across the area at mid-week with some shower and thunderstorm activity, however most of the moisture will fall in the northwestern half of the state, by Thursday just the remnants will move through the eastern half with possibly a tenth to quarter of an inch (and that’s being generous). Some more rain is possible during the Memorial Day weekend as well with a frontal system nearby but even those chances aren’t looking good either (20-30%). Temperatures will rise into the 80s this week and approach or exceed 90 by the weekend depending on the position of said storm this weekend. We’ll have to keep up to date on this storm in future runs.
