Back home with the sunburn and AC blowing on me, I write to recap the trip I took to the east coast, filled with rain, sun, injuries, hot tempers and car issues. From the baseball game Tuesday afternoon in Boston to Washington DC Thursday, the trip had everything you could imagine, and everything you could imagine go wrong as well. In the terms of “Big AL” from the post yesterday, What you doin’? I wish I knew what I had done, but all and all everything didn’t go to planned, although I did make it, the train ride early this morning to Newark followed by 5 hours in the airport, eating cold breakfast burritoes from Dunkin Donuts and feeling like I was going to pass out from the lack of sleep I had had. Plane to O’Hare went to planned, got some sleep on that flight with a lovely scenic view of the rail route I took back on Saturday night and Sunday along the shores of Lake Erie. Nothing says wonderful like seeing Buffalo New York from way up in the sky, because from the rail line, there isn’t a whole lot to say about it down there. Again, I return to the grid for weather at this time. I will post a weather discussion later this evening (no video) as I plan to hit the hay early so I can catch up on much needed sleep that I have lost over the last 36 hours. Thanks to Henry for backing me up this week as I was gone.
