The Storm Prediction Center in Norman, Oklahoma has posted a Mesoscale Discussion discussing the possibility of a watch. High instability has already caused numerous small-scale thunderstorms throughout the midwest and is expected to turn into a rather bigger scale this evening. Uncertainty continues as different models are showing different scenarios. If showers & thunderstorms do develop, the SPC will most likely issue a watch.
