The Storm Prediction Center has issued a TORNADO Watch until 10pm for the following counties, Clay, Dickinson, Lyon, O’Brien, Osceola, Sioux, Jackson MN, Nobles MN, Rock MN, Lincoln SD, Minnehaha SD and Union SD. Thunderstorms have begun to develop over the Dakotas this afternoon and may effect the northwestern counties of Iowa and surrounding counties this evening. Along with the threat of tornadoes, large hail and damaging winds will be possible with these storms as they move through the area.
