The Storm Prediction Center has issued a severe thunderstorm watch until 3am Thursday morning for the following counties, Lee, Van Buren, Clark MO, Scotland MO and Hancock IL. A severe storm has developed over the far southeastern counties of the state this evening and is moving into NE Missouri and west central Illinois. More storms may fire in these areas over the next few hours, however the severe weather threat across the SE counties of Iowa will quickly end before 10pm tonight. Any of the storms may produce large hail up to golf balls and winds to 60mph.
