STORM AHEAD: There could be a slight chance of an early day shower this morning, otherwise skies will be clearing and temperatures will begin a slow warming over the next few days. Readings by Tuesday-Wednesday will be in the upper 60s to mid 70s. A storm will move across the state from the north and northwest on Wednesday with some showers and thunderstorms. Rainfall looks to be light and scattered at this time, with many areas getting a quarter inch or less. Readings will cool off back to the 60s through the end of the week into the following weekend.

MAY DAY: People may be screaming Mayday on May Day (the 1st) with the model showing a storm system moving across the state with some showers and thunderstorms. Some of the storms may be strong, but it’s still too early to determine that or the amount of rainfall that could occur. Several more storms of a weaker variety are seen on the model for the first week of May, but nothing of the significance of the one on the first. We may have a more pinpoint look at this possible event by mid-week.
