SLOW WARMING: Could see a scattered shower or storm today mainly across the northern half of the state. The rainfall won’t be heavy or widespread with many areas getting little or nothing. Heaviest amounts will be around a quarter of an inch. Temperatures behind the system will start a slow rise into the 70s early next week from the 50s we saw yesterday.

ANOTHER STORM: Next chance of rain will come again late on Tuesday into Wednesday with another disturbance riding around the ridge that will be off to our west. The chances on Tuesday and Wednesday look better for rainfall than today however, the amounts will still be light at least at this time, this could change. Readings will cool slightly for the end of the week but remain in the 60s.

MAY I?: Looking into the month of May is almost a constant change on the models lately. No real pattern or trend at this time. Temperatures on this run look to remain a bit above average but nothing compared to March though. There are a few systems possible, none of which look particularly interesting at this time. We’ll keep watching.
