RAIN CHANCES: Several disturbances will move across the state over the next week bringing some showers and thunderstorms to the area. Rainfall amounts through the weekend will be between a quarter and three quarters of an inch. The chances of rain come through Wednesday through Friday afternoon. Temperatures throughout this period will remain near average. Highs in the upper 50s to 60s with lows in the 30s and 40s.

ACTIVE END?: The end of the month still looks active with a storm coming toward the state and region around the 28th and 29th (a bit slower than yesterday). It’s a bit weaker than the 00z run yesterday and further to the south, which may take any severe weather chances out of the state. It would put us on the north side where clouds and possibly an all day rain would be likely. This, however is still well over a week away and could change once again in future runs.
