SUNDAY: Another Severe WX Outbreak forecasted; Moderate Risk

After a very long day and night of roughly 5 tornado warnings and multiple Severe Thunderstorm Warnings, mother nature is giving us another outbreak. The Storm Prediction Center in Norman, Oklahoma has posted a MODERATE risk for Severe Weather for Northwest Iowa, and this will not be like today.

Some uncertainty lies with this, as early morning storms may block this threat. But relative humidity points in the 60’s, a warm-front, and a surface low/cold front and parent upper trough will provide a lot of instability for the day tomorrow.
Even with early morning cloud-cover, potential appears likely for narrow Severe Thunderstorm risk tomorrow. Surface Based development as well as some scattered showers seem likely in the afternoon across Northwestern Iowa tomorrow.
Potential appears to be the biggest for areas concentration will be focused to will be to the East-Northeast of the Northeastward advancing surface low where it will intersect the warm front. This in combination with high wind shear values will support super cells tomorrow afternoon.
All modes of Severe Weather will be possible tomorrow. Tornadoes and High Winds will be the main threat highlighted, especially Northeast of the Surface Low/Warm Front.
Stay tuned for the latest updates tomorrow. A live chat is likely tomorrow as well. Stay safe everybody.
