COOL DAYS: High temperatures for the next couple days will remain in the 50s to lower 60s with some frost and freeze conditions this morning and again Wednesday morning. Skies will be mostly sunny throughout.

WET WEEKEND: Two storm systems will be effecting the state during the weekend beginning late Thursday through Monday. The best chances of rainfall look to come Friday into Saturday with scattered chances Sunday into early Monday. Some of the rainfall could be moderate to heavy with many places possibly getting at least an inch which would be helpful given the ongoing moderate to severe drought in the northwestern counties of the state. Severe weather is possible but looks more likely to our south and southwest.

ONWARD: Following the storms this weekend, temperatures will remain near average with another system making an impact from the north the following Saturday. This looks to be followed by some warming toward the end of the month, but still nothing compared to the warmth of March.
