THE WEEKEND: Today will see some clouds with some chances of showers and isolated thunderstorms. The rainfall from this system will be light with many areas seeing less than a tenth of an inch if that. The storm quickly moves off leaving Easter Sunday with partly to mostly sunny skies and temperatures in the upper 50s to mid 60s.

THE WEEK: The beginning of the week will get cooler with frosty mornings Tuesday and Wednesday. Highs during this time will be in the 50s to lower 60s with lows in the lower to middle 30s with some protected locations possibly dipping into the upper 20s. The next storm comes Thursday with some showers and thunderstorms and it now looks that this storm will have a partner in crime coming right on the heels of the first. As the first storm departs late Friday, the next system moves in for the weekend with more showers and storms at that time. This will be needed in areas that are experiencing moderate to severe drought.

MORE RAIN: Further out, rain doesn’t seem to be in short supply with more storm systems and more chances of showers and storms. Any of these storms could bring some severe weather with them, but it’s too early to determine that with any certainty, but severe weather season is upon us and using this past week to prepare for such an event is key with any upcoming events.
