* TORNADO WARNING FOR…
CENTRAL ATCHISON COUNTY IN NORTHWEST MISSOURI…

* UNTIL 800 PM CDT

* AT 732 PM CDT…NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING A TORNADO. THIS DANGEROUS
STORM WAS LOCATED NEAR ROCKPORT…OR 6 MILES WEST OF TARKIO…AND
MOVING NORTHEAST AT 20 MPH. IN ADDITION TO A TORNADO…DESTRUCTIVE
HAIL UP TO TWO INCHES IN DIAMETER IS EXPECTED WITH THIS STORM.

* LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE…
TARKIO.

THIS STORM HAS A HISTORY OF PRODUCING LARGE HAIL UP TO GOLFBALL SIZE
JUST WEST OF TARKIO.

STURDY BUILDING. AVOID WINDOWS. IF IN A MOBILE HOME…A VEHICLE OR
OUTDOORS…MOVE TO THE CLOSEST SUBSTANTIAL SHELTER AND PROTECT
YOURSELF FROM FLYING DEBRIS.
