Strong southwesterly winds along with very low relative humidities are leading to some high fire danger across the state. A Red Flag Warning has been issued across NE and Western Iowa through the evening. Temperatures this afternoon have climbed well into the 60s to near 70 while the relative humidity is currently between 15-30%. This will improve this evening and overnight with rain moving in on Sunday.
