Temperatures at mid-afternoon have dropped into the 30s across the western counties of the state. Sioux City had hit 75° yesterday was down to 39°. Storm Lake was down to 32°. Across the eastern counties where the cold front has yet to move through, readings were still in the 60s and 70s. Muscatine the warmest at 70°, Keokuk, Burlington and Moline IL at 68°. The front will move through the rest of the state through the afternoon into the evening hours with a few showers and maybe a rumble of thunder or two along it. Temperatures by sunrise tomorrow will be in the 20s and 30s across the state with highs tomorrow reaching the 40s to lower 50s.
