It may not seem warm outside today, but temperatures will warm up in only a few days. Above is an image of the projected highs from the MOS data off the GFS. It is showing 50s and 60s across the state with Lincoln NE possibly approaching 70. The warm weather won’t last with a cold front moving through Wednesday with some showers and isolated thunderstorms.

This is also the debut of the new map that will be used for the Forecast Videos this summer and in the fall.
