WARM SUNDAY: It will be warm and a bit breezy today across the state. Temperatures will be in the 40s leading to some melting of the snow. A cold front will come through late but bring no precipitation with it. It will bring readings back down to the 30s for the beginning of the work week.

NEXT STORM: The Tuesday into Wednesday storm has become a bit more complex. The system will move in Tuesday with a chance of a few showers ahead of it. Some rumbles of thunder cannot be ruled out. As temperatures drop we’ll likely see a switchover to some freezing rain or snow. Some of the ice accumulations could reach a tenth or two which will lead to some hazardous conditions on the roads. Snow will end the system as it pushes off Wednesday but most of the heavy moisture will have already left the state so accumulations looks light at this time.

ROARING INTO MARCH: The month of March roars in with another storm on Friday that could bring some wintry precipitation to the state. Then some cooler temperatures move in and the weather pattern quiets down a bit heading into the first week of the new month.
