ACTIVE WEEK: The week filled with precipitation chances continues with another system on the way Wednesday and Thursday. This one will bring some rain and wintry mix to the state as well as some snow. Amounts will be light similar to Monday’s event. After this storm, temperatures will drop back into the 30s to lower 40s from the 40s statewide today into Wednesday.

SUNDAY STORM: Models beginning to come together on this system, still not as strong as it was a week ago, but there is a bit more moisture with it then some of the previous runs. Looking like the storm will come in late Saturday night into Sunday morning with a wintry mix mainly across the northern half, maybe even some snow. The low pressure center will track across the state through the day. Some of the precipitation may changeover to rain over the far southeast while areas across the northern and western counties will see the wintry mix change to all snow. This will also occur during the late afternoon and evening hours across the eastern counties as well. Right now the heaviest snow totals from this system are likely to be in the far northern counties into Minnesota and Wisconsin. More details in later videos.

STORMY MARCH: The stormy pattern continues into March with more systems and more wintry activity, but it’s too early to look at these systems before we get through this week. One system on the 3rd looks particularly interesting, but we’ll wait on future runs with that one.
