COLD BLAST: It will be a cold weekend across the state with temperatures running at least 10° below seasonal levels for highs and lows. It will remain dry as well outside of the few flurries seen today as the front moves to the south and east of the state.

SNOW CHANCES: A disturbance moves through Monday that will give a chance of some light snow. Accumulations at this time look to be light with an inch or less possible. Another system Wednesday and Thursday may also bring some light snow to the state with light accumulations possible with that system as well.

BIGGER STORMS?: Further out into the run are some bigger storms that if they pan out, could bring some substantial snow and rain to the state. One on the 20th could bring light to moderate accumulations, but the one at the end of the forecast on the 25th could bring rain and snow, but again anything past 7 days is considered voo-doo and is likely to change, however there has been some evidence that the latter half of February will become more active so stay tuned.
