SPLIT STATE: Temperatures today will be dependent on the amount of snow if any on the ground at a given location. Across the western counties, where snow is not on the ground, temperatures will easily achieve the 40s to near 50, while the eastern counties will struggle into the lower and middle 30s. A disturbance will move through the state on Monday into Tuesday with some wintry mix changing to snow possible. Amounts will be light with only an inch of snow possible mainly over the northern counties, with lighter amounts elsewhere.

COOLING OFF: Behind that system temperatures drop back into the 20s for highs with lows in the single digits. A few locations may dip below zero. Some light snow is possible on Thursday with another weak disturbance that also may drop an inch of snow or less. A more powerful system is on board to move in by the end of next weekend. With several more through the end of the month.
