Snow Storm Moving In

Advisories for Tonight

Winter Weather Advisories continue through Thursday for all the counties along and east of Interstate 35, while a Wind Advisory is in effect for areas to the west of the Interstate. Snowfall has already begun across the western and central counties of the state but the heaviest snowfall totals from this system will be over the eastern counties. A cold front which came through this afternoon ushering in the northwesterly winds that are currently occurring, will bring a band of snow across the state. It is expected to intensify and stall over the eastern counties of the state later tonight into Thursday before departing Thursday afternoon and evening.

Snowfall Projection Through Thursday

Here is our projection of snowfall through Thursday evening. Depending on the intensity and where the band sets up, snowfall totals may even go higher than what is projected here. Be careful if traveling tonight and Thursday, there will be significant blowing and drifting snow as well.
