Wind Advisory To End and Begin Year

The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory effective Saturday evening through Sunday evening for all but the far eastern and southeastern counties of the state. A cold front is expected to move through the state on Saturday evening. Behind the front, temperatures will drop back into the 20s and lower 30s for highs, but the main story will be the winds. They will be gusting over 40-50mph with sustained winds between 20-35 from the northwest. The winds will subside heading into early Monday morning.
