CONTINUED CALM: The non-stop good weather goes on through the week with some slight flurry chances near the end of the week (Thursday into Friday). Until then temperatures will remain above seasonal averages for this time of year, with mid 30s to mid 40s possible for highs with lows in the upper teens to 20s. The new year will start off the same as well with readings in the 30s to near 40 with calm conditions.

THE SNOW STORM: Yes the model run does have a storm and yes the precipitation with it will likely be in the form of snow. When is it? This model run projects January 5-6th as the time frame. Given that this is still a week and a half away, we’ll need to watch this. Any snow that does come down will likely stay on the ground longer than the last few have, with cooler temperatures projected thereafter. Might be the time for sledding and snowmobiling, unfortunately work and school will be back in session by that time.
