CONTINUED QUIET: Still remains quiet for the rest of the week, with slight chance of some flurries or light snow showers Thursday. It won’t amount to much and travel will not be impacted. Temperatures will remain in the 20s to lower 30s across the state, colder in the snowpack areas where some places may barely break 20°. Readings will begin to warm back into the 30s by the upcoming weekend.

A STORM AHEAD: The next significant storm looks to come around the beginning of the new work week. The storm will be similar to the one this past weekend, coming from the southwest. Right now it still looks like most of the precipitation with this system will be in the form of rain. Although further into the week, cold air will filter in will change the precipitation to snow around mid-week next week, but this is still far ahead in the forecast, and it could change with the next model runs.
