Have updated the snowfall accumulations based on HPC upping its estimates for snowfall as well. Looks like a 3-6″ band of snow will be possible from SW Iowa northeastward to NE Iowa. This will include Fort Dodge, Mason City and Omaha. A heavier 6-8″ band is possible in west central Iowa extending into Nebraska which includes Carroll, Denison and Missouri Valley. There may be some heavier totals in the 3-6″ band as well. Lighter amounts either side of the line. The 1-2″ band of snow SE of the main band could be a bit high given the amount of rain and possible mix that could fall, limiting snow accumulations. We’ll continue to monitor any changes.
