SEASONAL AND DRY: It will be a tranquil transition from November to December this week, with only a slight chance of a snow shower on Thursday with another push of Canadian air. Temperatures will remain in the 30s and 40s for highs for the week with lows in the upper teens and 20s. The northwesterly flow will continue into the coming weekend as well with another shot of some light snow activity on Saturday into Sunday, but it won’t be enough for winter activities at this time.

WINTER STORM?: The model is showing a possible winter storm around the 10th and 11th of December. The storm would be coming in from the southwest (typical of some of the big winter storms we get). Right now it looks like the northwestern half of the state will get the snow, but given that this is just under two weeks away, we have a lot of time to look at it if it continues on consecutive model runs. Right now there looks to be no real cold blast from the Arctic, but that too could change on the next model runs.
