QUIET WEEK AHEAD: No problems across the state through Thanksgiving, with temperatures slowly warming up as the week progresses. It will also remain dry as well, with only a very slight chance of showers on Tuesday across the far SE, but most likely that will remain just to the south and east of the state. It will become windy by Wednesday with southerly winds bringing warmer air. Temperatures on Thanksgiving Day will be in the 50s statewide.

WEEKEND SYSTEM: A storm system will move into the state on Friday, likely Friday afternoon with a chance of some rain. Better chances will be over the eastern half of the state. By Saturday cold air will filter into the state, but any precipitation will be out of the state by that time. The weekend will end on a much colder note with highs likely in the 30s to lower 40s. The cold weather won’t last very long as temperatures return to seasonal levels by the following week.
