WINDY: It will be windy today and tomorrow ahead of a storm system that will be moving through the state on Saturday afternoon bringing a chance of a few isolated showers and thunderstorms to the state. Although the chances of precipitation are rather slight, (around 20-30%), rainfall amounts will be light, with no more than a tenth to quarter inch of rain possible with this system. It’s looking more and more like the snow will remain to the north of the state.

ROLLER COASTER TEMPS: Readings will drop back into the upper 30s to middle 40s on Sunday behind the front after readings well into the 50s both today and Saturday. Temperatures will begin a slow rebound heading into the holiday week. Thanksgiving continues to look mostly sunny with some breezy southerly winds and readings in the 50s. Black Friday is a bit more iffy with chances of rain and temps back into the 40s. This is a far cry for the bitterly cold weather on Black Friday last year.

DECEMBER: The model is showing a significant cold snap about two weeks out near the beginning of December. If this holds true, we could see our first arctic outbreak of cold weather in about two weeks time. (Outside of the areas that were in the single digits yesterday morning).
