QUIET WEEK: It will remain tranquil for the rest of the week ahead of a storm system that will effect the state by the upcoming weekend. Until then it will be quite cool today with temperatures in the lower to middle 40s, some places in the north may not get out of the 30s. Tonight will be quite cold with some upper teens to lower 20s statewide. The warmup will ensue after that with readings slowly warming each day until Saturday with highs climbing back into the middle and upper 50s by that time.

WEEKEND STORM: The next storm will bring a chance of some showers and isolated thunderstorms to the state. The chances of precipitation are about 20-40% statewide. If there is any snow out of this system it will be to our north and northwest. It may clip the far northwestern counties Saturday evening but accumulations aren’t likely at this time. We’ll see if that may change. Temperatures will cool back off into the 40s to begin Thanksgiving Week.

THANKSGIVING: Thanksgiving at least right now continues to look warm and dry with sunny skies across the state. There may be some precipitation for Black Friday shoppers later in the afternoon into the evening, but the morning should be fine.
