TWO RAIN CHANCES: Over the next week there is expected to be at least two chances of rain over the state. The first one comes late Saturday night into Sunday with a disturbance moving in from the west and northwest. This will mainly the northeastern half of the state. Wednesday’s storm system will effect everyone with some rain showers and possibly a clap or two of thunder. Amounts will range between a quarter and half inch with these two systems (combined). Temperatures will remain close to seasonal levels with 50s to lower 60s possible through mid-week.

NOVEMBER: The month still is looking active across the state and the upper midwest. The system on Wednesday mentioned above is the first in a series of systems to effect the state. Another one comes in about a week (5th) that may bring some rain and maybe even some wet snow if conditions warrant. Then comes the system we’ve been discussing for awhile now (the 9th-10th) system which on this run is much weaker than it has been, but still could bring some rain and maybe even wet snow as well. Another storm around the 12th could bring the same type of precipitation as well. We’ll see if these storms continue on future model runs.
